The box offices estimates are in and Brothers has done wonderfully well, pulling in around 9.7 million this weekend.

Dave Poland, who knows more about the box office than most, is quite impressed.

$9.7 million for a heavy drama like Brothers is actually quite good… even a little surprising. (Maybe this will push Lionsgate in to a more aggressive, deserved push for awards for Maguire.)
