The Phantom Menace: 20th Anniversary

Star Wars. Episode I: The Phantom Menace premiered in American and Canadian theaters exactly twenty years ago. It’s amazing to see how much time has passed. Star Wars was the definitive international recognition for Natalie and even today, many people began to be fans of her when they saw these films. Padme Amidala is one of the most recognizable characters of the saga, and although the prequels have been reviled by much of the fandom for many years, are being judged much more benevolent and objective lately (as Natalie admitted in her recent Interview for Empire). WE Day California 2019

Natalie attended the WE Day Event 2019 today at The Forum in Inglewood, California. She joined other attendees like Mahershala Ali, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Neil Patrick Harris, Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown, Grammy-winning rapper Chance The Rapper, model Winnie Harlow, YouTube star Lilly Singh, Emilio Estevez and Bill Nye.

The show, sponsored by The Allstate Foundation and Unilever and presenting partners Walgreens and Microsoft, will air August 9 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

Children’s Hospital LA

Natalie visited young patients at the Children’s Hospital as part of their annual Make March Matter campaign last Thursday in Los Angeles.

She took part in the “Literally Healing” literacy program by reading to patients during their weekly story time.

Other hospital visitors included Kaia GerberRowan BlanchardCara SantanaCharlotte McKinney and Isabel Pakzad.
