Ok... Matt's Artwork is still very cool, I like the ambiance, but man, if you insist to do something without Nat, do at least something with taste. (I would take anything with gratuitous violence, if Nat is in it).

Ok, it's obviously black humour, and absolutely hilarious!!
However, after reading others comments perhaps the We Love Nat fanbase wasn't as geared towards unhappy thoughts as some of us were. Make a continuation comic wear nat appears and brings the kids back to life..!! =)

Matt, this is not Leon, it's Noel. He is the opposite of Leon. In the first comic he says he ONLY kills women and children.

dakota transforms into her true alien form (d'onofrio/MIB style). fight ensues. noel barely wins just as tom cruise bursts in, reveal: DF part of 'farm' system to replace katie in a few years (aliens keeping up appearances). only women and kids, but for tom, noel makes an exception.

I'm pretty used to the type of humor that is found on NP.com so the kids being killed... that's funny, a bit sad, gross, evil, but funny. But it's time for Noel to go to sleep... I want to see Natalie back.

I really don't find the killing of children by gunfire very funny at all. I think you crossed a line with this comic.
Not to mention these Noel comics are getting to be pretty old. The same "opposite of killing women and children" theme in every one of them. I think we get it by now.

Rakhia, pointless? It can be many things to many different people but there is a point. Far more so than a normal one off strip. Maybe in time you'll see that. Maybe not. Regardless, I have more interest in the Noel strips BECAUSE there is more than just writing some gags for a few panels.

Explaining humour is very difficult because its so subjective but I'm a big fan of humour that twists expectations. Humour that goes to places I wouldn't have expected.

Yeah, I totally agree with this, but I talk about the mood. This humour is nice, but wicked. And I think last comics tend towards the dark side, which doesn't fit very well to the rest of the site.

The Noel comics aren't trying to capture a mood from the site though. They are inspired by The Professional, a movie with a very dark side. Leon was a murderer but eventually found redemption. Perhaps Noel's journey will be similar...

Glad you like the continuity. The women and children thing from the first strip was never going to be a throw away gag. It was my focus for the character and the story arc.
