We’ve updated the gallery with yet another new outtake from Natalie’s 2013 Frederic Auerbach photo shoot for Christian Dior Parfums. A big thanks to edenLiao for the find.
We’re definitely due for a new poll and with the Knight Of Cups news I thought it was time for a pulse check.
As for the last poll, a quarter of you thought her Dior exhibition outfit was not a winner but the rest of you were more than happy, although that could be due to Natalie’s lack of public appearances prior to it. Any Nat is better than no Nat. Here are the results in full…
Earlier today there was the Shanghai International Film Festival press conference, which based on this interview seemed to just be about…herself. Run it through Google translate to learn some oddities like Natalie’s mom is her agent (uh…) and Leon was called ‘The Killer Is Not Too Cold’.
After that came the red carpet appearance and holy hell, did they make her walk that whole thing alone? Maybe she was still on Paris time. Really like the look though, check back later as Rachel will hopefully be organizing the two albums from today.
Thanks to Belerofonte.
Natalie made her first public appearance in months as she attended the Miss Dior exhibition in China. Lighting was a bit harsh but still cool to see her smiling for the cameras again. Rachel will set up our gallery a little later but in the meantime you can hit the thumbnail to see more at Just Jared. Thanks to Belerofonte and SIFE.
UPDATE – More at the gallery, thanks to Kitten.
It’s time for a new poll and with not much else going on, the topic was an easy one – Natalie shooting a new Dior campaign in France. Are we still as excited as ever for her Dior collaborations? Let’s find out…
As for the least likely to work with poll, it was a close run between the masters of the green screen – George Lucas and Michael Bay. In the end Bay squeaked home for the “victory”.
Just a couple tiny morsels for this evening…
- Natalie is in Cannes after all! Although she’s looking a little flat. As you can see below, Natalie is part of the Cannes fait le mur, which is basically what it looks like. Huge photos that get hung up during the Cannes Film Festival. Not quite the appearance we were hoping for but hell, there’s always next year. Thanks to Kitten.
- Next up is a piece of fanart. Really nice work from Anima.
- And finally, we passed 20k likes on our Facebook page. A big thanks to everyone over there.
We’ve updated the gallery with a new-old behind-the-scenes photo of Natalie and makeup artist Eileen Kastner Delago on the set of Dior’s 2013 Miss Dior photo campaign and commercial. Thanks to Kitten for the find.
Time for a new poll and I’ve decided to make it about the Thor 2 deleted scene. I’ve already said how much I liked it (until a certain point) and now you have the chance to tell me how wrong I was.
As for the previous poll, the Dior Magazine was a lot more love than hate, which is good news because I would have burned this place to the ground if the results had come out differently
This evening a few more scans from the Dior magazine appearance. Another (great shot) from the photo set plus some photos of Natalie from the Shirin Neshat short film, Illusions & Mirrors.
Time for a new poll and the new Dior Magazine photos make for the perfect topic as opinions seem very split.
The blooming bouquet video poll was anything but split with only 6 voters giving it the thumbs down.
Natalie’s full photo editorial and partial interview from the fifth issue of Dior Magazine are finally here, courtesy of theFashionSpot. Click through the preview to view the HQ scans in our gallery. A big thanks to Kitten for the find, as always.
We’ve updated the gallery with some more new-old photos from Natalie’s 2013 Frederic Auerbach editorial for Dior, plus HQ versions of some of the old ones. A big thanks to Eden and Kitten for the finds!
It’s our 14th birthday. Even though the site was around prior to that, it was laying dormant when myself, Sanjiro and a few old time Natalie fans convinced Audio to let us relaunch it. Seems like a lifetime ago now. I won’t belabour the point but just want to thank Kris and Rachel for putting so much work into the site over the years, as well as the regular contributors who now more than ever (as finding time to work on the site gets harder and harder) help keep the site bringing the Natalie news to her fans.
It’s also Valentines Day, so wishes go out to all the lovers out there. And especially those who are looking for that special someone (hopefully not holding out for Natalie, that ship might have sailed).
As a birthday gift for the fans and as a pretty decent Valentines Day gift, here is the video for Blooming Bouquet. Really gorgeous I’m sure you’ll agree…although I can definitely go the rest of my life without hearing that song again.
