V for Vendetta celebrates its 20th anniversary

Time flies. Yesterday marked twenty years since the North American premiere of V for Vendetta. The film, directed by James McTeigue and produced and written by the Wachowskis, features one of Natalie Portman’s most memorable performances and has become a classic of early 2000s cinema.

To celebrate, the director and several of the actors (including Natalie Portman) have given interviews to various media outlets, such as this one from IndieWire, where they reveal behind-the-scenes details and interesting facts about the filming.

A few months ago it was also announced that the film will be re-released on November 5th. We’ll have to wait to find out if it will be a worldwide release or if it will be limited to the USA. Hopefully it will be the first option. For now, let’s remember the trailer released to announce it:
