The 90th edition of the Academy Awards is being held today. Unfortunately Natalie will not attend the event, due to the shooting of Vox Lux in New York, but we can compensate by watching again her speech as best actress winner for Black Swan in 2011, which is , according to Entertainment Weekly, the eighth most watched acceptance speech in the history of the awards on YouTube, with 5,6 millions views:
Paramount released a new Annihilation featurette yesterday, focused on adapting the book to the screen. In the video, we can see new images of the film, and a few concept arts as well:
Annihilation opens today in 2,012 theaters in the USA and Canada. If you are a North American fan of Natalie, you should not miss the opportunity to see this movie in theaters. As announced last week, Natalie attended a Time´s Up Panel at the Makers Conference yesterday, along with other representatives in the movement such as Maha Dakhil, Rashida Jones, Malina Matsoukas, Katie McGrath, Nina Shaw, Jill Soloway and Tina Tchen. The panel was moderated by director Ava DuVernay. Variety has an article about it, and here are some photos from the event, and the full video (Natalie starting to talk at 18:15) :
