Hi everyone, just a couple of little things today.

So, let’s start things off with this very cute new old pic.

Natalie is mentioned in an interview with Bill Hader from the cast of SNL.

“When I used to do stand up in Los Angeles, I would do this sketch of actor Peter Falk conducting a Star Wars acting class,” Hader says. “Much later when Natalie Portman came to host a show at ‘Saturday Night Live,’ I did the same scene as Peter Falk teaching her the Star Wars universe. It was fun to watch Natalie do the different characters. I would show her how to act like a tauntaun and then she would do the tauntaun impression. I did a Tusken Raider, and then she did an impression of a Tusken Raider. But the sketch was changed so I wasn’t being Peter Falk after all and then it got cut from the lineup entirely, so we didn’t get to do it on the show. Apparently though, you can see that cut sketch on the SNL Cingular Network…if you can find it.”

So, if any of you have Cingular, get this thing and send it to us pronto! The very survival of humanity depends on it. I am totally serious.

Moving on, Natalie is name-dropped in this article as being an alum of the Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (“America’s premier summer arts day camp”). She did seem to like theater camp a lot.

From AICN comes news that Mike Allred’s dream casting for the character Jo in “Madman” would be none other than Natalie. You can read more abot it here.

And finally, a tidbit from Star magazine via infoflakes that should come with a tub of salt.

“Sparks flew with Natalie Portman, 26, worked with Andy Samberg, 28, on a skit for Saturday Night Live last year. But the two cuties didn’t hook up until March, when the newly single Star Wars star called Andy to chat. Andy had ust split up with Kirsten Dunst. The next thing you know, a source tells Star, “the two became inseparable.” The couple is still going strong despite Natalie being in China for work. “The lovebirds speak every day and Andy is telling his friends that he’s totally in love,” says the source.”
