We haven’t seen a conversation at Natalie’s book club in a while. On this occasion she has a talk with Ed Yong, author of “An Immense World”. In the video they are chatting about his ability to describe the senses of other animals we have little or no language for, like the way fish can sense the electric fields of other fish, the way touch can operate at a distance, and how echolocation is fundamentally different than hearing.
