The official section line up of the Venice Film Festival has been unveiled today, and Brady Corbet’s Vox Lux is one of the selected films. The last time Natalie premiered a movie in competition at the Lido was Jackie, two years ago. Will the great critical reception of Pablo Larrain’s film be repeated on this occasion? Hopefully it will be like that…

Tidbits

It’s been a quiet week in Natland, but here we have a few tidbits…

-It seems that there was a test screening of “The Death and Life of John F. Donovan” on Wednesday in USA, and some first reactions have appeared on Letterboxd. It’s likely that we can finally see the film by Xavier Dolan in the coming months (Cannes maybe?).

-Earlier in the week we were able to see Natalie on the set of Vox Lux. Here we have a Instagram video and a couple of new photos from that day:

Sunday Tidbits

The 90th edition of the Academy Awards is being held today. Unfortunately Natalie will not attend the event, due to the shooting of Vox Lux in New York, but we can compensate by watching again her speech as best actress winner for Black Swan in 2011, which is , according to Entertainment Weekly, the eighth most watched acceptance speech in the history of the awards on YouTube, with 5,6 millions views:
