monday is funday

Hola

The aim for next week is to finally put up the new banners. So far we’ve got 14 (mostly connected to her films) so we’ll probably put up 2 new banners every day. I should have enough surprise for you guys next week but I’ll keep mum on that one in case it falls through.

But for today, more odds and ends from around the world.

Let’s start with a NEW POLL!

And here are the results of the previous one:

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay – thoughts?

At this point I have no opinion 47.86% (134 votes)

Sounds interesting 35% (98 votes)

Sounds lame 9.29% (26 votes)

I’ve read the book and it’ll be a great role for Nat 6.43% (18 votes)

I’ve read the book and don’t think it’s a good choice for Nat 0.71% (2 votes)

I’m 200 page in and so far it’s wonderful. Full thoughts when I’m done.

There is an adorable (see Nat run. see Nat swim. see Nat fall. see Nat laugh. see Nat yawn.) but short making of for Paris Je T’aime over here. The Nat specific clip is #6. Thanks to Azraëlle .

Speaking of Paris Je T’aime, the official site is over here and you can see a nice clear version of the trailer.

The New York Post has done an article on celebs and their charity work. Natalie’s association with FINCA is touched on and there’s a little quote from her in the second link. Click here and here. Thanks to Manu.

Padmé058 sent word that Nat was 4th on E!’s Sexiest Beautiful Brunettes. With her rumoured (and probably unlikely) new blonde hair do, I wonder if she could feature on a Blonde version of the list as well.

And Rui sent in this scan from the Portuguese FHM, showing Nat made #58 in their 100 Sexiest poll.

Lurking found an article looking at the 3 actresses who are chasing Meryl Streeps crown. Damn, that prostitute comment is gonna stick to her for a long time.

And finally, Marcos sent in a cool Sin City wallpaper.

Have a “kick it like Portman” weekend.
