Did it again. Lost the update. All my fault this time.

Sigh.

Just so you have something to chew on, here are the “important” bits again.

Veggiegal from the IMDB boards has this potentially great Goya news…

The person named Felix who posted on oscarwatch the other day said the film should have a distributor by the beginning of September and that it would probably be Warner. Maybe they are still working out the details. They can add the film later on. He also said that the film would probably be released in late December which means that it will go wide in January. It is unusual for a film like this to be released in Spain first but a lot of the money for the film is from a Spanish production company. Besides, I think I mentioned that Milos Forman will be at the New Yorker Festival of the Arts in October. I am sure that he will be there because of Goya’s Ghosts and he wouldn’t be there if the film isn’t coming out soon. I live in NYC so I intend to see him.

Hold thumbs.

While trying to find a release date for Goya in South Africa I stumbled across the Paris Je T’aime release date of February 16th. That is just after Valentines Day, which makes sense when you consider what the film is about. So maybe a number of other countries will also get the film around that time.

Antonio sent in a photo of an autograph that he spotted in Madrid. It was in a filmbook store and its just damn cute.

Alright, I’ll try and bring the rest tomorrow.

Sorry for the truncated update :-/
