Little known French writer/director. Sociological drama. Playing a teen. All very intruiging.

Celiana has some info on a HD DVD release of V for Vendetta.

Warner Home Video has announced the October HD DVD releases of V for Vendetta starring Natalie Portman, and Excalibur which stars Cherie Lunghi and Liam Neeson. Each will be available to own from the 31st October, and should set you back around $28.99 a piece. Each will feature a high definition presentation, along with Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 soundtracks. Extras on V will be identical to those on the retail DVD, albeit with an additional ‘in-movie experience’ – in which director James McTeigue (along with members of the cast and crew) trace in detail the V Saga from graphic novel original through the movie’s execution. The only extras on Excalibur will be a commentary by director John Boorman, and the trailer.
