Surprise!

Okay, well I guess it can’t be a surprise now that everyone is expecting anything. Nevertheless, I’m pleased to announce that step 1 of the np.com overhaul is complete.

The new image gallery is now online and ready for your grubby little hands.

A few notes…

– Kris still needs to link to the new system from the image gallery menu link. Should be done tomorrow.

– We haven’t been able to work out how to get the thumbnails resizing instead of cropping but we’re working on it.

– Images will now resize to fit your screen. To view the full size, click the icon at the bottom right.

– To save the image click “download” at the bottom left.

Most importantly, expect to see a happier staff as this new system makes creating galleries so much easier. The old system was really starting to fall to pieces.
