Nat and Besson reteam?

By August 20, 2008Nat-news

At this point I think you need to take this with huge gulps of salt. If it is true, and I doubt that very much, Besson would have to be producing, not directing. He gave up directing awhile back but is still very involved as a producer.

South Korean actor Dong-Kun Jang will act in the new thriller by French director Luc Besson, the Information Times reported on Wednesday.

International stars Natalie Portman and Milla Jovovich are also expected to star in the film.

Set in present-day New York, the film will chronicle subplots triggered by serial killings.

Based on an award-winning novel by a South Korean college professor, the Korean-French film, yet to be titled, will start filming in early 2009.

How can they not even have the title of the novel? Sheesh.

Well if it’s in Korean and translates poorly, I could see that being a problem.

This is great, but utter BS.

Luc Besson filming a thriller? Sounds very likely. Not the only thing that he has done -he seems to be more like Kubrick, one movie from every genre (I hope no one will take bad the “comparison”)-.

Filming with his “muse”, Mila Jobobich, even if only as a producer -I men, Luc- ? I guess maybe more likely.

Mila Jobobich and Natalie Portman in the same movie? I can even pray for that!!! (specially if it weren’t one of those gore things, like serial killers, as this is meant to be, if it is real… :()

But there is something that doesn’t sound like “it is going to happen”, right?

Nat and Luc Besson paired up again sounds like a fantasy, tbh. 🙁
