I was able to find out that there is truth to it, but that things are very much in the early stage of development. Another slight inaccuracy from earlier is that Dan Gordon wrote the initial script, which will be used as source material, but there will be a new script written by a new writer.

Really hope this one happens but there’s a long way to go yet.
