Nat gets scholarly

In the Nov/Dec issue of Scholastic Magazine, you’ll find a short little interview with Natalie. She talks about the value of family and friendship…

CHOICES: Why is it important for kids and teenagers to have valuable friendships?

NATALIE: Friends are the family you can choose. They’re people you can count on whenever for whatever, and who can count on you in the same way.

CHOICES: How did your parents and friends encourage you to believe in yourself?

NATALIE: I always felt I could mess up and it would still be OK because my parents and friends were behind me. I knew–and still know–that even if I fail at something, I have people who love me and who I love who will be there ready to make me laugh.
