Release date clarification

By November 20, 2008Nat-news

In an early comments section post, Thierry mentioned that the page for Brothers on wikipedia lists a UK premiere in December and a US release date in February.

So I dug around to get some updates and, while not exactly cartwheel inducing, here they are:

– Brothers still has no release date yet. Forget what the wiki page is saying. I know they were looking at summer but I wonder if they might want to see how it plays at Cannes before finalizing a date.

– NY, I Love You will also be released sometime next year but once again, no release date yet.

– Love and Other Impossible Pursuits, despite various sites stating a June release, doesn’t have one yet, which isn’t surprising since they’re still filming.

– Eve still has no release plans.

I *think* we’ll get to see all 4 in 2009 though, which should make for a hell of a year.

“while not exactly cartwheel inducing”…. LOL Dazza. I really like your writing style.

Piggy-backing on that awesome phrase, I’ll rate the cartwheel inducement level of each film, on a 1-10 scale:

    – Brothers: 10. Seeing Nat with Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire is bound to be good.

    – NY, I love you: 10, because it’s been friggin’ too long a wait, and because I want to see Nat as an actress and a director.

    – Love and other… : dunno yet. Maybe an 8? Why? because I’d rather watch her act with Javier Bardem (again)or Robert Downey Jr, and, I can’t really feel excited abt this film yet!

    – Eve: 7 … it will be a cute film I’m sure, but Nat’s not in it.
