Hitflix have a 45 second scene from Brothers featuring Natalie and new it girl, Carey Mulligan. It’s a good scene but its definitely Carey’s.

Hitflix also have some hopeful awards comments to go with the video.

There is some irony in that both actresses may be going up against each other in the same category (although it’s not unheard of). And considering the growing buzz regarding the performances from the Portman/Gyllenhaal/Maguire trio, that’s not out of the question. The filmmakers could have quickly released “Brothers” last year, but decided to hold the film until this late date and if word on the street is correct, it may have been worth the wait.
