Kat Dennings has joined the cast of Thor and according to MTV, it was Natalie who announced it.

“Well I’m really excited,” Portman told MTV News. “Kat Dennings is going to be in it with me and she’s a good friend and an amazing actress, so I’m looking forward to that.”

I can only remember Kat in Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. She was pretty but the film was really crummy, so I have no idea what she can bring to the table.

Its unknown who Kat will be playing but Garcy pointed out that this casting call might provide the answer.

Lastly, MTV got another new quote about Natalie hitting the (comic)books to learn more about the universe.

“Yeah I’ve been learning more about it now,” she explained. “I was really unschooled about the world of Thor before.”
