LOIP Gets Re-Cut

It’s been quite quiet on the Love and Other Impossible Pursuits front since its screening at the Toronto Film Festival a few months ago, where it received some very positive reviews from big hitters like Variety, THR, LA Times and our own Garcy. But there were also some negative reviews.

Well, Spoonbat found an update buried in this Variety article about Incentive Filmed Entertainment.

It also financed the Don Roos-directed Natalie Portman starrer “Love and Other Impossible Pursuits.” That film bowed at Toronto but did not get a distribution deal. Molner said the film is being re-edited, and potential distributors will see the result early next year.

Hope a new cut does the trick. Brothers opening well might also help matters.
