A few weeks ago Spoonbat spotted a site that kept track of writing assignments that the studios put out. On the grid was a project called Untitled Natalie Portman project aka Charity aka The Devil Wears Oxfam.

The assignment went out, from Participant Productions, in August and was closed in December. Now, from what I can gather, closed means the project was either filled (writer coming on board) or the project was no more.

I wasn’t able to get any kind of confirmation from a source but if true this project is still VERY early on the timeline. Natalie does have a production deal with Participant so I’m inclined to think there may be some truth in this. However, clearly there’s a looong way to go yet.
