Natalie awarded the French Legion of Honor

We have some completely unexpected news today. It has been announced that Natalie is among the 619 recipients of this year’s French Legion of Honor. Rebecca Zlotowski, a director and close friend of hers, is also on the list. This year’s promotion was signed yesterday by President Emmanuel Macron and published in the “Journal Officiel”. In Natalie’s case, the honor is “Knight of the Legion of Honor”

The National Order of the Legion of Honour is the highest and most prestigious French national institution, both military and civil. It consists of five classes and was originally established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte. The order has been retained, with occasional minor alterations, by all subsequent French governments and regimes.

We don’t know if there will be a reception or award ceremony, but we’ll keep you updated.
