The time to decide the new banner for np.com is upon us. Changing the banner on the old site was a nightmare so I like the idea of switching things up maybe 2 or 3 times a year. So this isn’t permanent but you better like whatever you vote for because you’ll be seeing a lot of it after this week.
The artist names will be withheld till the end. When voting please consider how the banner fits into the design of the site – which shouldn’t be too hard because we’ve provided screenshots of the banners in action.

I voted for #1 but # 3 and 4 was great too.No matter who wins I hope these other choices may be alternatives when the time comes to switch banners.

I think it’s a good idea to switch banners from time to time.It makes the site more attractive and better looking although the site and categories remain the same.

I agree about switching it up now and then. If you did, would you pick the top three (or some other arbitrary number) as your other banners or have a new contest if/when you feel like it’s time for a change?
