better late

Ok, so it’s not the morning.

I got some good news about my film today, so was busy with everything that that entailed…like practice my red carpet walk in the garden.

Nevertheless, I’m here now so let’s get to it.

Melody has updated the Free Zone gallery. Some of you have emailed me about the ROTS gallery being a bit behind, well it will also get the update treatment this weekend.

Another popular email topic is “why do the messageboard links not work, asshole.” The board moved and is currently over here. But it’s just temporary. Hopefully sooner rather than later, we’ll have a nicely integrated board for the site.

You might have heard the latest Indy news. Here’s the scoop:

Harrison Ford is set for a new sidekick when he returns to the big screen as Indiana Jones – in the shape of actress Scarlett Johansson.
Ton Cruise has been championing the Oscar nominee for a part in pal Steven Spielberg’s fourth Indiana Jones movie as the pair work together on Armageddon drama The War of the Worlds.
Cruise has been working with Johansson on the third Mission: Impossible movie and he’s convinced she’ll be perfect for the new Jones film, according to Australia’s NW Magazine.
An insider says: “Steven was saying there is a shortage of young actresses who can carry off a strong role. He considered Natalie Portman, but she’s too connected with Star Wars – Tom suggested Scarlett.”

Source thanks to Steve.

I think that would make a nice new poll!

Here are the results of the ROTS trailer poll:

So, what did you think about the final ROTS trailer?

Incredible, I’m so stoked. 57.13% (697 votes)

Great but I’ve been burned before. 20.49% (250 votes)

I haven’t seen it yet. 14.18% (173 votes)

More of the same Lucas crap. 4.67% (57 votes)

Not great but I have faith. 2.95% (36 votes)

The world is abuzz, with the sounds of Vader.

And speaking of ROTS, this new pic is VERY SPOILERIFIC. Thanks to Orionsaint.

An interesting little blurb up next. It’s an article about a new book called Privilege: Harvard and the Education of the Ruling Class. The 3rd paragraph is the one of interest…

We do, however, hear?and at great length?about how Douthat failed to get into the “final club” of his choice (apparently he wasn’t among those who “lived in the right suburb, vacationed in the right windswept part of Long Island or Maine or Nantucket or the Vineyard”) and how a certain campus starlet (who “would have been pretty had it not been for the ghostly, heavily made-up pallor of her skin and the coldness of her eyes”) refused to acknowledge his existence.

Ouch. Thanks to straitjackinit.

And now a ton of fanart.
