superstar dj, here we go

Morning all

I’ve got a ton of comic con stuff so let’s just hop to it.

AICN’s Quint has a great little report of the panel up, which includes several pics of Nat looking great.

ComingSoon have a different pic of Nat plus an audio interview with Nat and co. Click here to check it out.

IGN has another trailer description.

Wireimage and ISIFA have pics of Nat at the event.

And finally, a Nat’s fans perspective from Jon.

there were a ton of people, but the room was big enough to acommodate everyone. i wasn’t seated too close but i was able to see her fine. they had those big screens too.

it started off really funny when the first guy up for Q&A asked her to do something completely original ala Garden State, which she did and was really cute. other than what was mentioned in that variety report, there was one not so cool incident when a fan came up to ask her a question but didn’t really ask her one, instead mentioning a condition that he had which fans at comic-con never appreciate. i guess they figure that they only have limited time and they really don’t like it when a fan takes more than 20 seconds to talk about themselves rather than ask a question. but natalie was really nice to the guy and thanked him. i’d say that was probably the only unpleasantness of the whole day. it also got a bit funny when most of the questions were directed at Natalie. Probably the first 8 or so questions were all to her which the audience found really funny. i also liked it when someone asked her about shaving her head and then after answering his questions, she asked the guy if he would do it (he had pretty long hair). that was kinda funny. one of the funniest questions was when a guy asked her about how she was as an actor starting from back in the day when she was in the might ducks! even she had to ask him to repeat it and when he asked her again, she sort of laughed and pretty much told him that she wasn’t in that.
naturally the audience let the guy have it…

all in all, it was an amazing experience. it was well worth the drive, the wait and the money to see her. i’m always impressed when i see her interviews on letterman or other shows or read articles on her… but to listen to her talk in person… you really get this sense that she’s this geniune person. she’s not fake. her intelligence is something that you notice right away. she’s very nice to people and very patient. she listened to every question and really tried to give a good response.

i really hope that she had a good experience because that could mean more appearances in fan conventions, so that fans from other parts of the world will also have the chance to see her in person.

It sounds like they’re still planning to release the film in November but I guess there will be an official annoucement soon enough. Hopefully next week will see the trailer going online.

Happy days!
