sibling love

Hola

I just finished reading the script for The Other Boleyn Girl. Now, I haven’t read the book and I know very little of the history. So this opinion is knee deep in ignorance, which, come to think of it isn’t really that far off the norm.

I thought it was a damn good read. I’ve never read the script for a period piece and thought it might be a bit dry and boring on the page but I was pleasantly surprised.

Natalie has definitely got her hands on a challenging and very rich role. The character of Anne goes through quite a transformation. From a loving young girl to a scheming seductress and eventually a broken, battered and regretful woman.

Those of you worried about seeing Nat play such a cold calculating character can at least take some comfort in knowing there’s always a spark of humanity flickering, even during her worst moments.

The only minor complaint I have is one of the title cards at the very end of the script. It tells the viewer that one of the characters died two years later…OF A BROKEN HEART! In the words of Gob Bluth, “Come on!”

A big thanks to Amidoll for sending me the script and since spoilers aren’t much of an issue in this case – Enjoy!

I would still recommend that you wait for the film though.

This calls for a new poll.

And here are the results of the last one…

Wow, a number of you still haven’t seen it. Thanks to Fanatical610 you can view a youtube version over here, which, while very poor quality, should at least run without a problem.
