Smashing again

Evening

Sorry about not updating yesterday. The dog ate my…errr…hands. But they’re back now and so am I.

2 years and 1 month ago I wrote…

“Love will feature short plays by: Julia Jordan (the upcoming musical Ever After), Brooke Berman (Smashing, now being made into a film produced by Natalie Portman)”

That’s the first I’ve heard of it. Hopefully we’ll hear more about this soon.

Okay, so it wasn’t exactly soon but along comes a new article about Brooke Berman that says…

Partly this is because Berman makes breeziness engaging, a skill that helped her write one of my favorite plays of a few seasons back, the smart, stylish Smashing (recently optioned for film by Natalie Portman).

Recently, eh?

Another article seems to have the time line down a bit better.

Three years ago, she sold the film rights to one of her plays, Smashing, to Natalie Portman and wrote another screenplay for Ms. Portman.

Maybe we’ll see one or both of these scripts being made for Natalie’s Handsome Charlie Films? Time will tell. Thanks to super sleuth Fanatical.

Next up are some more gallery updates. New images are marked as such. Thanks to Pasha and Jenski.

The wonderful JTN Productions gallery just got even better.

The Boleyn London Premiere gallery got a couple new additions.

The Madrid Photo call for Boleyn is increased by a dozen.

And The Darjeeling Premiere gallery got 10 new images added, including a lucky Adrien Brody.

That’s it for now but I’ll be back with a kickass new poll tomorrow.
