Natalie in Kenya?

By August 29, 2008Nat-news

If reports are correct, Natalie will be joining Manchester United football star Cristiano Ronaldo, former ER actor and good friend Anthony Edwards and London marathon winner Martin Lel in Eldoret, Kenya.

The aim of todays visit is to raise funds, under the Shoe4africa banner, for a children’s hospital in Eldoret.

Natalie will then be making her way to Venice to receive the Movies For Humanity award and Monday’s premiere of her directorial debut, Eve.

She is just amazing, and I hope she is able to continue this kind of work. I’d love to see her be recognized for it later in life with a Nobel Peace Prize or something. I know awards are just really like…a plaque or a medal of a statue that you can hang on your wall or put on your mantle, but when people do things that are greater than themselves over their lifetime, they deserve to be recognized for it.
