New poll + results

By February 22, 2009Site-news

This weekend I was away for a mini holiday, which was really great. Well, except for having the kitchen ransacked by a baboon who had a “what you going to do about it?” expression on his face as he tore through an expensive box of chocolates that we had bought for our hosts. The answer to his question – not much.

It was great to finally catch up this morning with the craziness that occurred on the site and forum yesterday and a big thanks to Rachel and all the other contributors. I thought Natalie looked gorgeous in that pink dress and her segment was a big success but I’d like to see how many of you agree in…

…the new Oscar poll.

Click on for the results of the pre-Oscar poll:

What do you think about Natalie being due to participate in the Oscar ceremony?

I was going to watch it anyway but now I’m really excited. 48.34% ( 160 votes)

I won’t be watching but look forward to seeing clips and pics of her appearance. 32.93% (109 votes)

I probaby wasn’t going to watch but I will be now. 13.6% (45 votes)

I have no interest in the Oscars nor of Natalie being there. 2.42% (8 votes)

I was going to watch until I heard Nat would be there. I have issues. 1.21% (4 votes)

In the current poll, I voted 1. Nevertheless, I think the “None of the above” option was a must, and should be in every poll.

(As a matter of fact, I liked more her style than the presentation, which I liked, but no as much as… her presence there? Maybe if she would have presented more awards I would have liked more her presentation of award? ;p)

She’s getting a lot of rave reviews…I’ve seen a few who didn’t like the dress, but much more who did, including this one…

An afterthought of course…I wonder why they picked Natalie of all people to do the segment. I was disappointed b/c I felt like it was distracting…I was very excited to see her and then to have Ben Stiller acting like an idiot and wandering around the stage just took away from seeing her. I guess I don’t have much of a sense of humor either.
