Natalie Portman has signed to star as Elizabeth Bennet in a film version to be directed by Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko).

…has me considering that bit of news at least a strong possibility. I’ve sent out some emails to try and get confirmation so keep an eye for a further update later.

A few years back I would have been thrilled with Richard Kelly but after Donnie Darko his star has somewhat dimmed in my eyes. Maybe his new film, The Box, will be a return to form.
