In the anthology film, “Paris, Je T’aime”, Natalie has a really great short film with director Tom Tykwer. It was entitled True. To make the short film fit it was edited slightly to reduce the running time, so only those who saw a screening of the short prior to “Paris, Je T’aime” would have seen the full cut. Until now.

In Germany a Tom Tykwer boxset was released and included was the full version of True and we got our hands on the new version, which I think is about 2-3 minutes longer. Enjoy.

I adored that short so I can’t wait to watch this when I get home. 😀

I love it! She’s great in this. No English subtitles though. 🙁

This full cut fixes almost all the little flaws I had noticed =D (for instance the kinda rough transition when he tells her he knows a shortcut and she follows him without hesitating)

It is even better than before!

Yeah, there’s definitely more of an emotional resonance with the opening not being quite so rushed.

Aw, I also wish there were subtitles. But I still think it’s really good. I saw the whole movie (which I also enjoyed) and I can’t remember if there were subtitles, but there must’ve been, b/c I pretty much remember the gist of what he was talking about. Thanks for putting this up!
