I poke fun at it, but I do think its sweet and kinda cool that so many young celebs look up to Natalie (must…resist…height…joke…), with the latest being Miley Cyrus’ anti-BFF, Selena Gomez.
We’ve got two mentions today. Times Online is up first.
What does she want to do long-term? “I think acting is where I will probably end up. I would like to challenge a range of genres,” she says seriously. “I love Meryl Streep and Natalie Portman. I’ve never met them — I would probably have a heart attack if I did, ” she giggles.
Next up is Twist.
“I’m going to try to pull a Natalie Portman.” Selena’s dream school? Northwestern University in Illinois!“Natalie went to Harvard while shooting Star Wars. I don’t know how she did it. I want to have lunch with her and ask her, that seems like a bunch of stress right there.”
How did she do it? Try summer holidays. Australia to Harvard would be a hell of a commute every morning.
A more fitting mention would have been when Natalie was balancing High School (including AP exams and SAT’s) with 8 performances of Diary of Anne Frank a week.
