We’ve got quite the backlog of smaller news items, so let’s do some catching up with another round of tidbits.

– Starting off, Natalie was in Iceland for her birthday. No photos and we aren’t sure whether if there was a work component, but here is a short article in Icelandic.

– Next up, it seems that the Ruth Bader Ginsburg film (the name of which I always have to look up – On the Basis of Sex) has been in development for awhile, with the delay being because Natalie insisted that the director be female. As you might recall, Natalie has gotten her wish with Marielle Heller seemingly set to direct.

– Finally, for those interested in films that Natalie could potentially have been in – the Macbeth trailer is here and looks amazing, while the Steve Jobs teaser dropped a couple weeks back and is also really well executed.

Thanks to Belerofonte.

It’s nice that Natalie is championing female directors and female stories. I just finished reading annihilation and I think Natalie will be perfect as the biologist. I really hope she does it! With Alex Garland writing and directing I think it’ll be great.
