Thor was usurped by Bridesmaids, which is proving to be a real crowd favourite, during the week and now the new Pirates Of The Caribbean film has taken the top spot. So Thor is down to 3rd with $4.4 million yesterday and $15 estimated for the weekend. That would put it around $145 million at the end of the weekend and a little under $400 million worldwide.

As for Hesher…is that sucker still even playing? The Box Office Mojo daily chart for the week doesn’t list it at all. Based on the opening weekend numbers it should have been around the top 15 films. Maybe there really is no money to keep the Hesher train rolling, which is a real shame as people seem to like it – Hesher as a pretty decent 7.4 rating on IMDB.
